Glasgow ranked in top 10 of Time Out's 48 Best Cities in the World for 2019

Glasgow ranked 8th alongside such illustrious company as New York, Melbourne, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, Montreal, Berlin, Paris and Tokyo. It also ranked FIRST for both friendliness and affordability with 55% of those polled saying the city has changed for the better (higher than nearly any other destination featured).
And Glasgow is ahead of some other major global destinations like Sydney, Barcelona, Washington DC, Toronto, Singapore, San Francisco, Dubai, Moscow, Rio, Hong Kong and Beijing.
From a UK perspective only London (4th) is ranked highest than Glasgow, with Manchester coming in 15th place, Birmingham in 24th and Edinburgh in 30th.
